The Asia Pacific region continues to play a pivotal role in the global growth of the Contact Centre industry. Providing a broad range of services; from shared services centers to high tech / high value help desk centers; the industry growth in the region is set to continue to break records.

Talent will continue to be the single most critical factor in the sustainable growth of the industry as Enterprises seek to maximize the potential of their Human Capital to gain an advantage over their competitors. The 2008 International awards will continue the 2007 awards theme of honoring the people behind the scenes that continue to fuel the industry’s exciting growth.

To support the region’s continued growth and represent the industry on the world stage; the Asia Pacific Contact Center Association Leadership forum (APCCAL) was formed. The CCAS is honored to be elected as the inaugural Chair of APCCAL and entrusted with its official launch in April 2008.

I would like to thank the Chairman of the Awards Committee; Mr. Siva Subramanian for his commitment to the continuous enhancement of the awards to ensure that we continue to raise the bar and set the highest standards of excellence.
